At the heart of our church’s mission is a steadfast commitment to sharing the gospel with people across the globe. Guided by the words of Jesus in Mark 16:15—“Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature”—we have faithfully built and sustained a missions program that reflects our desire to reach every corner of the world with the hope of Christ.

For many years, our church has supported missionaries. We currently support 165 missionaries worldwide, partnering with them as they plant churches, preach the gospel, and minister to communities in need. We also stand behind 37 pastors in Honduras, helping equip them to shepherd their congregations and continue the work of the ministry. In addition, our church family lovingly supports 42 children in Honduras, providing for their spiritual growth, education, and daily needs.

This missions program is more than a list of numbers—it is a living expression of our faith in action. Every missionary sent, every pastor supported, and every child cared for represents our church’s desire to share Christ’s love and fulfill the Great Commission. It is a testimony to what God can do through a willing and generous church family.

Home and Abroad Baptist Ministries

Home and Abroad Baptist Ministries seeks to provide pulpit supply to churches in need through Sunday meetings, revivals, mission conferences, and Bible conferences. We also collect KJV Bibles to distribute to people in the Philippines and offer financial aid, as God provides, to missionaries and national pastors in foreign countries. In addition, we sell the books I have published and use the proceeds to purchase biblical books that we freely give to young preachers.

Missionaries to the youth of Africa

We partner with independent Baptist churches to equip them with practical tools for reaching the next generation—both in local schools and within juvenile prisons. Our goal is to help churches build meaningful, gospel-centered relationships with young people who desperately need hope and direction.

Jeff serves as the Prison Prevention representative for the entire continent of Africa, working alongside ministries and church leaders to strengthen outreach efforts and expand their impact.

Our teaching material, Character Under Construction, provides a solid, biblically grounded curriculum designed to shape character, encourage wise choices, and point students toward Christ.

Baptist Missions To Forgotten People

Jon and Carolyn have been members of LDBC since 1967. Jon graduated from Tennessee Temple Bible School in 1970, and they left for West Africa (the Sahara Desert) in 1971. Health challenges redirected their ministry to France before they spent 18 years pastoring off‑base U.S. military churches in Spain, Belgium, and Japan. Since 2005, Jon has served as a Field Administrator with Baptist Missions To Forgotten Peoples and now serves as the Church Planting Administrator. Glorifying God by enjoying Him has remained their passion as they have devoted themselves to fulfilling the Great Commission.

CPR Ministries- Life support for the local church

CPR Ministries is a support-focused ministry committed to strengthening and sustaining America’s Fundamental Baptist churches by offering practical “life support” to congregations in need. Its work centers on helping churches navigate pastoral transitions through interim and pastoral‑search assistance, guiding declining congregations in developing clear and workable recovery plans, and providing ministries designed to reinforce the health and stability of local churches. CPR Ministries also invests in the future of these congregations by training church workers and ministry leaders, equipping them with the tools and encouragement needed.

Good Samaritan Baptist Missions

Good Samaritan Baptist Missions is a Christ‑centered ministry dedicated to empowering today’s generation and reaching future generations throughout Central America. Its work is rooted in sharing the Gospel and strengthening local communities through a multifaceted approach that includes church planting, a Bible Institute that trains national pastors, a far‑reaching radio ministry, and a compassionate child sponsorship program. The ministry also invests deeply in education and operates feeding centers that provide daily nourishment to children and families in need. Together, these efforts form a holistic mission that meets both spiritual and practical needs while building a foundation of faith for generations to come.

Project 61-3 Ministries

Project 61‑3 Ministries, established in 2014, is the current ministry building on earlier decades of work that began in 1969 with church planting, evangelistic campaigns, Bible‑school development, and short‑term missions across Germany and Europe. Today, Project 61‑3 focuses on equipping missionaries by providing free resources such as clothing, Bibles, tracts, school supplies, household goods, medical items, food, and transportation assistance, while supporting more than 115 missionaries serving in 45 countries on six continents. The ministry also extends help within the United States through disaster‑relief efforts and support for shelters serving battered women and the homeless. All of this is carried out with one purpose and goal: “That He Might Be Glorified!”

Maurice & Judy Payne

Forgotten Millions Ministry USA

Bro. and Sis. Payne have ministered in nursing homes since the 1980s, with a vision not only to serve locally but to equip churches across the United States to establish Nursing Home Outreach Ministries. After entering full-time ministry in 1986, they traveled in 44 states as well as Canada and Mexico, working with numerous churches and seeing hundreds saved.

Alongside their national outreach, they built a strong ministry in the greater Chattanooga and North Georgia area, once holding about 30 services per month and currently serving 12 facilities monthly. Their burden remains to see souls saved and to reach often-forgotten residents, distributing giant-print Psalms, Gospel tracts written by Bro. Payne, and large-print hymns during services.

Our Community Outreach

The Good News Club is a after‑school outreach designed to share the love and message of Jesus Christ with children in our local public schools. Led by trained volunteers from our church, the club provides a safe, joyful, and gospel‑centered environment where students in grades K–5 can learn, grow, and experience God’s truth.

Each weekly, hour‑long club includes:

Engaging Bible lessons that clearly present the gospel
Creative learning activities that help children understand and apply God’s Word
Inspiring missionary stories that broaden their view of God’s work in the world
Meaningful, upbeat songs that reinforce biblical truths
Life‑shaping Scripture memory to help God’s Word take root in young hearts

Our team serves with a deep passion for seeing children come to know Jesus and become connected to a local church—whether ours or another Bible‑believing congregation. Through this ministry, we are also building relationships with families in our community who may not be reached through other avenues.

Several members of our church faithfully support and serve in this outreach, helping us bring the hope of Christ to students and families right where they are.

Each month, on the third Monday, the members of Lupton Drive Baptist Church prepare a hot, home‑cooked meal that feeds up to 100 guests at the Chattanooga Rescue Mission. Along with the meal, our Super Sonshiners gather and deliver essential items the mission needs, helping to support both the physical and spiritual care offered there. This outreach is a blessing to our church family, giving us the opportunity to serve others with Christlike compassion and to support a ministry that reaches some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
