The Merry Widows ministry was created to remind the widows in our church that they still hold a special place in the hearts of their friends. Until someone has experienced the loss of a spouse, it is difficult to fully understand the profound changes that follow. You have not only lost your husband, but also your closest companion—the one with whom you shared daily life, cherished memories, and so many of life’s moments.
Each month when we gather, we enjoy meaningful fellowship and uplifting experiences with friends who understand both the deep sorrow of losing a beloved companion and the significant life changes that come with it. Though we still miss our husbands and carry that loss in our hearts, we are deeply grateful for the friendships we share and for the love and support we receive.
